Ailsa Fairley 21st January 2009

I never met Moira, but I heard all about her from her Uncle William in Nottingham. As a disabled person myself, I am very proud of Moira. Yes! She had a short life, but I believe Moira will continue to impact on the lives of future generations of disabled young people. It seems to me she will always be an inspiration to disabled people and professionals alike as a role model of independent living and how to claim a right to family life. Thank you Moira and God bless. Ailsa.
