Goodbye to my little sister Moira I find you leaving us so hard to bear Perhaps as hard as not being able to share My sight, my speech, my brain The very basics of which you were strain I am sorry my sweet love for the unfair Oh how I desperately wanted to make it more fair Your hands were so very soft and delicate And your giggles and smiles so pleasing and affectionate Your voice was so clear and often quite loud And your achievements made us all so proud Your hair was filled with soft curls of gold and reds And your joy of music went straight to our heads! Your skin and complexion was so faultless and fair And your enjoyment of delicious food I do share Your many friends loved you very much For their hearts and souls you did beautifully touch And you achieved what we all dream of having A life full of the most enduring wonderful loving Goodbye my little dear sister From your older loving sister
