Debbie Edge 26th January 2009

Dear Moira, I didn’t know you for very long and I didn’t get to know you very well. But the quality of your life and how you lived it made a huge impression on me. Somehow or other you always managed to let us know what you thought, although it was often difficult to make us understand. We are all better teachers, friends, and carers because you taught us to look for the small things, and to praise them whenever we found them. You showed us that when getting ‘better’ at doing things is not possible, it is enough simply to enjoy doing them, and that our goal should be to find more things for you to enjoy. Your wonderful family and friends found more things for you to enjoy than I would have thought possible before I met you. So thank you, I am very glad to have known you. with love from Debbie Edge at Milestone School
