Moira Scott. I often ask myself who people to me are, do I understand them, and do they understand me. Well I guess that is one of life’s mysteries’s for me that I find a pleasure and compelling. One particular person who came into my life I can honestly say has not only helped me to understand our individual ways of communicating and expressing ourselves, but ultimately has taught and given me far more than I have ever been able to give her. Mo’ has never ceased to amaze me with her patience, resilience and ability to bring people together. I can remember a day a couple of years ago, I was spending the afternoon with Mo and we decided to go into town, whilst busying ourselves I heard my name being called out. Some friends were in T Wells, a couple let’s say in their mature phase of life, they came over and I introduced Moira, we chatted and I explained that Moira and I were out shopping for ingredients for tonight’s dinner. A few days later I bumped into them, I was taken aback a little as they bye passed the normal social chit chat to say how wonderful it was to meet Moira and that she had helped, made them think about who they are. You see, that was Moira and still is, Moiras legacy will always be for me that ‘ah I get it’ moment every now and again. I would like to close on a few glimpses of my memories, Live music, new friends, the many flavours and colours of J2O, Thursdays, creating meals, hair bands and brushes, Irish accents and Mo’s voice. To Moira. With Love Vince
