Moira & I shared a love of live music and we became “live music” supporters in the various hostelries in Tunbridge Wells. Moira was very much part of the scene at the Thursday night jamming sessions at the Prince of Wales until it was closed (No, not because of our behaviour!) Moira very much enjoyed listening to SW3 and an assortment of live music acts. Moira very gently and graciously waited until any new volunteer got into the groove of how to do things and was always patient and kind. One evening, Gill, Suzi, Moira & I went to the Retreat in Church road. I became Karaoke Queen for the evening and the other two saw a new side to me but Moira had a look on her face that said “It is just Dilys being daft again” I’m sure we can all say that Moira has influenced us for the better and Moira leaves a lot of love and such happy memories for so many of us who knew and loved her.
