I am very glad I had a chance to meet Moira and to see her enveloped by her loving family. I remember the time when I lived in London about 15 years ago, and our families got together in Greenwich for a lunch at the local pub. I had never paid much attention to the accommodations that were just being introduced in the US for people in wheelchairs. But as we worked to get Moira from the van to a table at the pub, I realized how important these simple modifications are. Moira helped to teach all of us something about empathizing with others and working to make the world a better place. Her laughter will linger in my memory forever.
